Skin Prep for Makeup application

This is one of the most important steps to achieving a beautiful makeup application that will last! The makeup can only look as smooth as the skin it is applied too so take the correct steps to achieve your best results.

-Cleanse face to remove any makeup, dirt or excess oil

– Use a toner to restore the Ph balance after cleansing especially if you have oily skin. Water based toners are the most gentle.

-Moisturize ( You can skip this step if you have oily skin)  and give it 5 minutes to soak in before applying a primer.

-Use under eye cream for extra hydration in this high crease zone

-Apply a primer! Primers have so many benefits:
1.Protects your skin from the makeup
2.Protects your makeup from your skin! It creates a barrier between your skin and foundation which controls shine and stops foundation from moving so it will last all day
3.Smooths out fine lines, open pores and dry patches.

Tip: Use a mattering primer for oily skin, Hydrating and moisturizing primer is good for mature skin
